We want to serve as a resource for our ladies and consider it a privilege to pray regularly for you. If you have a special need or would like to share a prayer request (open or confidential) please contact our team by email or reach out to any of our team members individually. We are honored to partner with you in service to our Lord!
Connecting & Gathering
Around the Table
Creating connections as our women share a simple meal and gospel-centered conversation. Six women enjoying two hours around one table! New dates and times are available February through April and June through November to build community with a new mix of ladies each time. With rotating hostesses and participants, you never know who you might meet or get to know better over a meal or coffee. To sign up, visit our lobby table the last two Sundays of each month. If you can’t sign up in person, email women@gashland.org or call Beth Schupp for a list of the upcoming dates and to sign up.
Christmas Tea
Women’s Ministry now alternates its Christmas ministries. Each year we will celebrate with the larger Christmas tea or our Contemplating Advent: A Meditative Experience. This year will be the former. Our Christmas tea is a formal event with dessert and entertainment to share with your friends. Look for details closer to time!
Apples of Gold | Seasonal Encouragement
Proverbs 25:11 tells us that “A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in a setting of silver.” This ministry pairs up women who would like to be encouraged or have a heart to encourage (or both!) through notes, text, emails, phone calls, etc. Kind of like a “secret pal” but not done in secret! Watch the Link for more information and sign-up opportunities in early 2024.
2nd Saturday Coffee Hour
For those that are busy during the week but still seek out shorter, casual, gospel centered fellowship, join us for 2nd Saturday Coffee. Bring your favorite breakfast beverage, and come enjoy light snacks, friends, and a short gospel conversation at 9 am in the Fellowship Hall every 2nd Saturday of the month.
Equipping

Laura Cooper leads this group, which meets at 9:45 am every Sunday in rooms 217-218. The fall semester will be covering the letters of John (1st, 2nd, & 3rd John) and Peter (1st & 2nd Peter).

Morning Circle Study
Begins September 12th, 9:30-11:00 am
The Morning Circle study meets for Bible study, prayer, and fellowship on the second Tuesday (a new week!) of the months of September through May, from 9:30-11:00 am in the Fellowship Hall, beginning on September 12th. Nancy Williams will lead the discussion from the study, Becoming a Woman of Prayer by Cynthia Heald. Prayer is our response to the One who has called us and desires us to be in a relationship with us. This study guides us as we look at relevant Scriptures and meaningful quotes and thoughts from godly men and women that, when applied to our lives, will encourage us to grow nearer to God through the discipline of prayer. New members are welcome!

Evening Gathering
Begins September 11th, 7:00-9:00 pm
This is a weekly group of women that meets to have fellowship, Biblical discussion and prayer time. This fall, they will be discussing Liturgy of the Ordinary by Tish Harrison Warren, a Christianity Today Book of the Year, which guides readers to discover how the overlooked moments and routines of our day can make us aware of God’s presence in surprising ways. How do we embrace the sacred in the ordinary and the ordinary in the sacred? Come and discover the holiness of your every day. Women can do the weekly reading or just show up for the video and discussion. Gathering time is 7-9 pm on Monday nights in the chapel. First gathering this fall is on September 11th.
