Local Missions: 410 Serve Day

December 2023 | Written by Caleb Mason

We had 90+ members come out on Saturday, November 11, to serve at 8 different sites in a variety of ways, utilizing all of the varied gifts for God’s glory. Not only is this day a blessing to our neighbors, it is also a blessing to our congregation, for them to be able to connect with other members and warm their hearts towards the task at hand, the Gospel being proclaimed in all of the earth. This great commission starts with raking leaves of a neighbor but we pray it does not end there. Our prayer is that our entire congregation would catch the spark and begin loving like Jesus not just in this city but in all of the world. And that we would not stop with actions but that we would move to words, “How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!’” (Romans 10:14-15)
