We love children and we want them to know Jesus! Here at Gashland, children will be loved, known, protected, and taught about the God who made them and wants to know them. We desire to partner with parents in conversations of faith with their children. We teach children through multi-generational relationships and gospel-focused, Bible-based curriculum.
What to Expect on a Sunday Morning:
Sunday School
For: Kids age 4 through 1st grade
When: 9:45 am – 10:45 am on Sunday mornings
Where: Downstairs in the children’s hall
What: Children will grow as they go in depth into God’s Word in fun and creative ways. Classes are divided by grade level, and each are led by two committed teachers.
Children’s Church
For: Kids age 4 through 1st grade
When: 11:00 service, dismissal right before the sermon
Where: Room 121/122, adjacent to the Ministry Center
What: Children engage with a Bible story through discussion, activities, and crafts. As they journey through the Scriptures, each lesson points to the redemptive story of Jesus.
Sermon Search
For: Kids in 2nd-5th grade
When: During the 11:00 am service on Sunday mornings
Where: Ministry Center
What: Sermon Search is a wonderfully interactive tool that helps children participate in the sermon. They listen to the sermon and collect clues along the way. At the end, they solve a puzzle using those clues. This is a fun way to train our children to listen well on Sunday morning. Prizes are awarded periodically throughout the year! For those of you joining us virtually, Sermon Search is uploaded to the virtual worship pages every Sunday morning.
Other Ministries:

For: Kids age 4 through 5th grade
When: 6:30 pm – 7:45 pm on Wednesdays
Where: Downstairs in the children’s hall
What: Children rotate in teams through fun stations beginning and ending with high energy praise and worship. Stations include Bible memory, Bible stories, and games.

For: Mothers with children 2 years old and under
When: 11:00 service
Where: At the back of the Ministry Center
What: This room is made available for mothers to tend their babies’ needs during the second service. The sermon is played through speakers in this room so mothers can listen while caring for their babies.
