GEPC Director of Student Ministries Search

Gashland Evangelical Presbyterian Church is currently searching for a Director of Student Ministries. If you have found yourself on this listing and believe the Lord is calling you to apply, we invite you to do a few things. Please read over the Position Description (HERE). You will find a lot of good information there about our current position and what we are seeking in a Director of Student Ministries. 

We are excited for the next steps here at our church. Our city and congregation are growing. The needs are changing in our community. The fields are ripe. We are expectant and waiting on the Lord in this season. We have been praying for you, your loved ones, and your current circumstances.

               2) Briefly share your testimony. 
               3) What makes you the most excited about serving in Student Ministries?

Where are we in the process?

  • 1. The Search Committee is selected.
  • 2. The Search Committee forms job description.
  • 3. The Session approves job description and salary range.
  • 4. A public announcement of vacancy is released and posted on the EPC website as well as other online locations.
  • 5. Potential candidates provide the required initial application items.
  • 6. Preliminary Screening and additional follow up questions for initial applications. Additional applications are still being accepted during this step.
  • 7. First round Interviews are conducted. Applications are still being accepted.
  • 8. Second Round Interviews are conducted. Applications are still being accepted.
  • 9. The Search Committee prayerfully develops a short list of candidates.
  • 10. Search Committee conducts an in-depth interviews with candidates on short-list.
  • 11. Search Committee presents preferred candidate to Session. Session will vote to determine if candidate will be called as Gashland's Director of Student Ministries.
  • 12. The congregation is informed.
