Pull up a chair!

Dear Congregants,

At GEPC, we often talk about what happens inside our walls— the music, the sermons, and the coffee hours. But there is a vital part of our ministry that happens beyond our doors, driven by
something we call Per Member Asking. To be honest: in the past, this has felt like just another line item on a budget. But this year, we’re looking at it differently.
What is it, really? Your "Per Member" contribution is your seat at the larger table.
It is the collective drive that allows us to:
• Strengthen Local Churches
• Care for Pastors and Leaders
• Advance Missions Regionally and Globally
• Protect Biblical Faithfulness and Unity
The cost for 2026 is $40 per member (80$ per family). We aren't asking for a sacrificial windfall. We are simply asking
for every member to "pull up a chair. " If everyone contributes their portion, we don't just meet a budget—we fulfill a promise to be part of something bigger than ourselves.
How to pull up your chair:
- Look in the pew or chair in front of you for the 'Yellow" envelope.
- Give via Tithely: Select "Per Member Asking" from the dropdown.
- Drop a check: Write "Per Member" in the memo line and mail it to the office or drop it in the plate this Sunday.
Thank you for being the hands and feet of this church—both here at home and out in the world.

With gratitude,
Your Finance team

Resource Health exists to offer compassionate care to men and women experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. Their focus is to holistically empower the family unit through advocacy, education, mentoring and discipleship. Their goal is to positively impact families now and for generations to come. We will be doing a Baby Bottle Drive to Support Resource Health through Sunday, April 26th. Pick up a baby bottle and fill it with coins, currency, or checks made out to Resource Health. These bottles may be picked up/dropped off when filled in the lobby by the Office after first service and downstairs in the lobby before and after 2nd service at the Resource Health Table. Endowment Fund Minute

The Endowment Fund family grew to three this past December. There was some confusion after the Annual Meeting because only one of the three funds was mentioned. For clarification, here is a description of all three funds:
(1) The primary Endowment Fund here at Gashland was established over 30 years ago. The current value of the fund is now over 90% of the threshold goal that will activate the fund. The Finance Team has set a goal 12/31/26 goal to reach the $125,000 amount.
(2) The Kuenzi Fund honors longtime member of Gashland, Don Kuenzi, by his family. The fund was established to provide scholarships for youth, participation in trips, and other youth activities.
(3) The newest member is the Father’s Trust Endowment, that will be funded through book sales of “The Father’s Trust”, written by Gashland member, Roger Weitlich. Proceeds from the sale of the book plus contributions, will help bring religious speakers and musicians to Gashland.
When making a contribution, be sure to designate which fund you want your contribution to go to.

Breakaway Registration Update

We are excited to announce that registration for the church is now open! We are blessed to have a program that is eagerly sought out each year, and we are thankful for those who volunteer to serve and make this week possible.
As one of our largest outreach events of the year, we want to serve both children from our church and from the surrounding community. The number of coaches we have directly influences how many children we are able to serve. Because of this, space is limited.
If a session is full when you register, your child will be placed on a waitlist, and we will gladly reach out if a spot becomes available. We will work to serve as many children as possible, and if we gain more coaches, we hope to open more spots.
Use the button below to register.
We are grateful for this opportunity to preach the gospel and ask that you would join us in praying that the Lord would use Breakaway to draw many children into relationship with Himself.
