Opportunity To Serve
We are looking for volunteers to serve on our Sunday morning Coffee team. Our baristas serve one Sunday a month. No experience needs, we will show you how. Outreach Leadership Opportunity
This fall, we will be launching a special church-wide initiative focused on sharing the Gospel and inviting people into the life of our church. Before we launch, we are looking for men and women who would be willing to help lead outreach efforts and encourage others in evangelism by going door to door in our community.

Outreach Collection for July - City Union Mission
City Union Mission has been serving the Kansas City area for more than 100 years now by providing shelter, meals, clothing, training and recovery programs for men, women and children. For July we will be collecting Grits (large), Oatmeal (large), Canned (all sizes) Corn, Peaches, Fruit Cocktail, and Pears, Coffee, Cups for Hot and Cold Drinks 8–12-ounce size, Full Sizes for Men's Body Wash and Men's Deodorant. Donations can be put in the Mission Boxes during the week. One is located on the 2nd Floor by the Office; one is located downstairs in the Ministry Center by the double red doors. Support Our Middle School Students
Our middle school youth will enjoy a mystery trip Aug 3rd-6th. Please join us in praying for safety and a great time of fellowship, learning, and fun for our students and leaders. We are also grateful for donations toward registration fees, so all students can attend regardless of their financial situation. Contributions can be earmarked “mystery trip.”
Eleos: Back-to-School Event
Eleos, one of GEPC’s ministry partners, will sponsor a Back-to-School Event on August 8th hoping to help 50 elementary students. To support this event, the Outreach Team is asking you to bring the following items to church starting July 8th until August 2nd. The items needed are: Back packs, Pencil boxes, Glue sticks, Large pink erasers, No. 2 pencils, Highlighters, Red/Blue/Black ballpoint pens, Pocket folders, Tissues, Rulers, Colored pencils, 24-count crayons, Scissors, Loose leaf paper, Composition notebooks, Spiral notebooks, and 3-ring binders.
If you wish instead to donate cash or checks made out to Eleos, someone will be at Mission Box located on the 2nd Floor by the Office before and after 1st services and at the Mission Box near the Ministry Center by the double red doors before and after 2nd services on July 26th or August 2nd.

Planting Seeds of Faith for the Next Generation
Earlier this month, Pastor Michael invited our church family to pray about the possibility of launching a Christian preschool as a new ministry of our church. We are excited to share that God has been opening doors, and we will be moving forward with the launch of a new preschool!
This preschool is more than a place for children to learn—it's an opportunity to love Jesus, to live as family and to look to the fields of our surrounding community.
More details about this exciting new ministry will be coming very soon! In the meantime, we would like to invite you to join us for an informational meeting on Sunday, July 12, at 6:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall, where we'll share our vision, additional details, and answer questions you might have.
