Join us for Advent & Christmas Eve!
We will be kicking off a new sermon series called, “The Promised One: An Advent Series in Isaiah”. We also want to send you a special invite to attend a few of our special services! Details are provided below.
On Christmas Eve we will have two candlelight services in the Sanctuary. One at 4pm and one at 5:45pm. Both of these services will be with our traditional music. Little Lambs will be available for children ages 0-3 during both services. We are excited to worship with you this Christmas as we reflect the Promised One!
Hillcrest Hope is empowering individuals and families experiencing homelessness to achieve personal independence through transitional housing, accountability, education, and community support. During the month of December, we will be collecting - Crackers, Bottled Ranch Dressing, Canned Fruits (all kinds), Oatmeal, Canned Red Beans, Boxes of Cereal, Dryer Sheets, Dish Soaps, and Toilet Paper. Donations can be placed in the Brown Mission Boxes located in the Upstairs Lobby by the Office under the TV or Downstairs in the Ministry Centers Lobby by the South Double Doors. Christmas Caroling | Dec 10
Our Annual Christmas Caroling event will be on Wednesday, December 10th at 6:00pm. We will have a meal in the Ministry Center and then divide up into groups and visit members of our church family. This is a great opportunity to "Live as Family" by bringing joy to those that could use some extra Christmas cheer. You will be a blessing to those we visit and you will also be blessed by going to see them. You do not have to be a good singer - your caring enough to be involved is all that is necessary! Please join us!
Outreach Collection for December - Hillcrest Hope
Morning Circle | December 9
All women are invited to the December 9th Morning Circle meeting at 10:00 AM in Fellowship Hall. We will continue with our study lessons of times when "God Spoke", and the application to our lives. Handouts are provided. A time of corporate prayer is also a part of our meeting. Coffee and tea are provided. Primetimer Christmas Party | Dec 13
Primetimers - it is time! If you are 50 and above (we don't card anyone) you won't want to miss our Christmas Party on Dec 13th from 5:00 - 7:00pm in the Ministry Center. We will play a fun Christmas Trivia game and eat great food. Please bring the dish that corresponds to what your last name starts with. A-H Side Dish. I - N Dessert. O-Z Main Dish. Joint Service | December 21
On Sunday, December 21st, we will have a joint service at 9:45am in the Ministry Center as we gather together as one body to worship. There will be no Sunday School on this Sunday for any age. Children’s Church and Little Lambs will be available during the service.
