Scripture Reading | March 1st

Women’s Circle Study | March 10th

On March 10, at 10:00 am, all women are invited to share in the current study, "God is Speaking, Are You Listening?", as Binny Pearce leads us in looking into scripture to see how God spoke to His people and how those examples have application to our living today. We will also share in a time of corporate prayer. No preparation is needed. We will meet in Fellowship Hall. Coffee, tea, and water are provided. Please contact Cindy Harris (816-419-2650) or Nancy Williams (816-312-8456)

Join us on the first Sunday of every month at 3pm to read scripture out loud with other believers young and old. We encourage all to read a chapter as we journey together through the Word of God, but we welcome those who simply wish to listen for an hour.

Ali Mammadov in Concert

If you attend our early service, you’ve already enjoyed hearing our choir’s accompanist at the piano each week—and on a few occasions, as a soloist as well.
Ali Mammadov is an accomplished concert pianist who, at just 27 years old, has already won numerous important solo piano competitions. He studies at the Park University International Center of Music under the renowned pianist Stanislav Ioudenitch. We are truly blessed by his artistry and his faithful contribution to our choir and church.
On Sunday, March 8, at 4:00 p.m., Ali has generously offered to present a solo piano recital in our Sanctuary. The recital is free, with a freewill offering benefiting the Mercy Fund.
Please mark your calendars and plan to join us for this special afternoon of music!

Nathan Moser - A Missionary in Nepal

On Sunday March 22nd one of our missionaries, Nathan Moser, will be visiting Gashland EPC. Nathan will preach in both of our services. We also will have an all church Sunday School in the Sanctuary to hear about Nathan's Ministry and have a time for Q&A. ***Please note: No other Adult Sunday School Classes will meet this morning so that we can all participate and hear from Nathan.
Nathan is a theological specialist for ITEN. ITEN stands for the International Theological Education Network. Their purpose is to come alongside local believers in hard-to-reach places of our world, where there is little access to biblical and theological training. Missionaries from the outside simply can’t access all the unreached peoples of the world, but increasingly formerly unreached peoples are finding new life in Jesus. As they do, they understand the need to reach out to their neighbors and plant new churches. ITEN seeks to help them do that by equipping them in theological training and leadership development. Nathan's role at ITEN is to write theological curriculum for church leaders in Nepal who do not have access to theological education. Nathan then travels to Nepal and teaches the curriculum throughout the year.
