We will be hosting our Father-Son campout Friday, May 15 – Saturday, May 16 at Watkins Mill campground. This is for boys ages 4 through 5th grade and their dad, grandpa, uncle or any other special father-like figure! An official invitation with details and information on how to register will follow but in the meantime please mark your calendars for a time of fun, adventure and fellowship! If you have a grandson or nephew who doesn’t attend Gashland we’d still love to have you join us!
On Sunday March 22nd one of our missionaries, Nathan Moser, will be visiting Gashland EPC. Nathan will preach in both of our services. We also will have an all church Sunday School in the Sanctuary to hear about Nathan's Ministry and have a time for Q&A. ***Please note: No other Adult Sunday School Classes will meet this morning so that we can all participate and hear from Nathan.
Nathan is a theological specialist for ITEN. ITEN stands for the International Theological Education Network. Their purpose is to come alongside local believers in hard-to-reach places of our world, where there is little access to biblical and theological training. Missionaries from the outside simply can’t access all the unreached peoples of the world, but increasingly formerly unreached peoples are finding new life in Jesus. As they do, they understand the need to reach out to their neighbors and plant new churches. ITEN seeks to help them do that by equipping them in theological training and leadership development. Nathan's role at ITEN is to write theological curriculum for church leaders in Nepal who do not have access to theological education. Nathan then travels to Nepal and teaches the curriculum throughout the year.
Hillcrest Hope is empowering individuals and families experiencing homelessness to achieve personal independence through transitional housing, accountability, education, and community support. During the Month of March, we will be collecting Flour, Sugar, Soups, Cereals, Crackers, Granola Bars, Canola or Vegetable Oil, Comet or Ajax, and Toilet Bowl Cleaners. Donations can be placed in the Brown Mission Boxes located in the Upstairs Lobby by the Office or Downstairs in the Ministry Centers Lobby by the South Double Red Doors. Thank You and God Bless You!
