Prayer Lenten Event

Sing for the Season!

Have you ever thought, “I’d love to sing in the choir… just not for nine months”? Good news — this invitation is for you!
For Lent and Easter, we’re opening the choir to anyone who would like to lend their voice for this sacred season. It’s a short-term commitment with a big impact, as we journey from reflection to resurrection through music.
You don’t need to be a professional singer — just bring a willing heart and a love for worship. Singing together during Lent deepens our prayer, and on Easter morning our voices rise in joy as we proclaim the Good News.
If you’ve sung before, this is a wonderful way to return. If you’ve never sung in the choir, this is the perfect time to try. Come for the season, sing for the joy, and see where the Spirit leads.
Join us — just for Lent and Easter — and help us sing the story of hope.
If you are interested, contact Kelly at Kelly@gashland.org or text her at 703-371-4257. You can also fill out a form available on the choir room door, or just show up on Wednesday night! Our rehearsals are Wednesdays 6:45-8:05.
Hope to see you there!

You’re invited to join us for a Prayer Lenten Experience, designed and led by our students to help prepare our hearts for Easter. This come-and-go experience includes six interactive prayer stations, each with an adult and children’s script so families can reflect, pray, and engage together. There will be space to slow down, listen, and prepare our hearts as we journey toward Easter.
The experience will be open on Ash Wednesday, February 18 (4:00–8:00 PM), Thursday, February 19 (5:00–8:00 PM), and Sunday, February 22 (12:00–2:00 PM, after church).
We hope you’ll join us for this meaningful opportunity for you and your family to pray and prepare together during the Lenten season.
