Description: This summer we’ll be studying several booklets written by R.C. Sproul. Each booklet tackles a common question of the Christian faith, though we will only be looking at a few of the 50 in the series. The books are available for free on Ligonier’s website, but it is not necessary to read them for the class, that’s what the teachers will do! Please join us as we seek biblical answers to some timely and intriguing questions of the Christian faith.

The Gospel of Mark plays a unique and strategic role in the Christian Bible. In this account of the life, death, and resurrection of Christ, we see him fulfilling in himself the Old Testament hopes for a coming king, the Messiah, yet we also see the stark ways in which Jesus confounds public expectations of what this king will do: he will suffer. Mark’s Gospel also gives us a vivid portrayal of what authentic discipleship looks like for those who follow a rejected king. Of the four Gospels, Mark was probably the first one written. Mark’s Gospel is concerned with presenting Jesus as the Messiah, the king, the Son of David, who is rejected by the religious authorities and calls his followers to radical discipleship in the kingdom of God.

Description:  The Abide Sunday School is for youngish adults and adults with young families. Its design and purpose is to help us abide with one another (grow in community, encourage one another, share life) and abide in Jesus. We are currently studying the gospel of Matthew. Coffee and pastries will be present! Our structure on Sunday mornings is to have light teaching, discussion, prayer, and then a time for us to connect, fellowship, and share life.

Discipleship Groups are made up of 4-5 believers.

Discipleship Groups provide intentional time in God’s Word alongside other believers, playing a crucial role in fulfilling Christ’s mission to make disciples. They offer a unique opportunity for spiritual growth and discipleship.

What are discipleship groups?

Discipleship Groups meet weekly on Wednesday Nights at Family Fellowship September through May from 6:30pm-7:45pm.

Discipleship Groups will read scripture, pray, grow in Christ-Centered relationships, challenge one another, discuss how to live out their faith in everyday life and glorify God in all things.
